A studio that grew out of a question:
what if healing felt like coming home?
Sōra means “sky” in Japanese. We chose it because the sky belongs to everyone — quiet adults, restless kids, exhausted parents, anyone in transition. This studio is our small offering of sky.

A wing made for tiny humans.
Pediatric acupuncture isn’t a smaller version of adult acupuncture — it’s a kinder language. We use shoun-ishin tools (no skin penetration), tiny press-tacks, and a lot of stickers.
What a session feels like.
Tea & talk
We start with chamomile and the question your last doctor never asked.
A gentle map
Pulse and tongue diagnosis to map your inner weather, all explained out loud.

“The whole family started sleeping again.”
My eight-year-old went from “I’m scared of doctors” to literally asking when his next appointment is. The team treats him like a tiny grown-up — it’s magical.
Six visits, sleeping eight hours. I haven’t slept that well since college, and I’m a father of three.
Coming here postpartum gave me a place that felt like mine. Quiet, warm, no judgment, and slowly, slowly — me again.
The questions parents ask first.
Does it hurt? Even for kids?
Most clients describe a tiny pinch (or nothing at all). For little ones we often skip needles entirely and use shoun-ishin — small smooth tools that gently stroke the skin along acupuncture meridians.
What ages do you treat?
From age 4 and up for our Sōra Sprouts program. For under-4 we offer parent-supported tuina massage and pediatric herbal consults.
Is acupuncture safe during pregnancy?
Yes — pregnancy is one of the most-studied applications. We use a fully prenatal-safe protocol, and our practitioner is certified in obstetric acupuncture.
How many sessions before I feel a change?
Many people feel calmer the same day. Lasting change typically shows up across 4–6 weekly sessions, then we taper.
Will my insurance cover it?
Many plans now cover acupuncture for pain. We provide superbills and guide you through the claim — no chasing required.
